Limits

  • Public data only — nothing that requires being signed in to Weibo.
  • A user’s posts need the numeric uid; the profile lookup takes either the uid or the custom name from the profile URL.
  • There is no comments tool for Weibo posts.
  • Results come a page at a time. Each call is a snapshot at the moment it runs — hot search changes through the day and there is no history of past lists.
  • Pay as you go from your toolfare balance, in US dollars; there is no subscription. A call runs when your balance covers its quote.
