Ask your AI which posts actually moved your social numbers.
Impressions, reactions and clicks for every post you published, daily reach, engagement and follower growth for each profile, across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X and the rest — answered inside ChatGPT, Claude, Codex or Cursor. Connect Sprout Social to toolfare once with an API token; your AI reads it through that token, and every read is free.
1Connect your AI app
Pick the app you use. You do this once, and every API on toolfare is then available in it.
Add toolfare as a connector in Claude
Add to Claudehttps://api.toolfare.ai/mcp
- 1Open Customize → Connectors and choose "Add custom connector".
- 2Paste this URL as the remote MCP server URL.
- 3Leave the OAuth client id and secret under Advanced settings empty.
- 4Complete the browser authorization, then return to your conversation.
Custom connectors are available on Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. A Free account may hold one custom connector in total.
Claude’s own instructions2What to ask
Copy a prompt into your AI app once you’re connected. It picks the right one of the 3 tools and tells you the price first.
How every published post performed
One row per post published in a time range, with its lifetime impressions, reactions and clicks, its text and its link.
- “Which of our LinkedIn posts got the most engagement last month?”
- “What did our top five Instagram posts this quarter have in common?”
Reach, engagement and follower growth, day by day
Daily impressions, engagement and follower growth for the profiles you choose, over an inclusive date range.
- “How did follower growth change week over week on each profile?”
- “Which network drove the most impressions last month?”
Your connected profiles and tags
The social profiles your Sprout account manages, by network, with the account’s tags.
- “Which social profiles are connected to Sprout?”
- “What tags do we use in Sprout?”
1Create an API key
One key and one endpoint for every API on toolfare.
export TOOLFARE_API_KEY='tf_live_…'
2Every tool and its input
Send the tool name and its arguments as JSON; the reply is JSON too.

Use it when
- You want to know which organic posts worked, across networks, without a Sprout report.
- You want follower growth and engagement next to paid social in the same conversation.
- You are planning content and want the last quarter’s best posts to learn from.
Look elsewhere when
- You want paid campaign results. Those live in your ad accounts. Use this instead
- You want someone else’s posts or a creator’s audience. Sprout reports on profiles you own. Use this instead
- You want to schedule or publish a post. The connection is read-only.
Sprout Social directly, or through toolfare
Directly
- Sprout Social reports, exported
- An API token of your own, on a plan that includes API access
- Your own code to put organic next to paid
Through toolfare
- Ask in the chat you already use, in plain English
- One toolfare login; no Sprout token handed to an agent
- Organic social beside your ad accounts in the same question
You get analytics, not Sprout Social. Nothing is scheduled, published or replied to through the MCP connection, there is no listening or inbox, and nothing is monitored for you between questions.
Limits
- Profile analytics take at most 100 profiles per request; a larger set is rejected rather than truncated.
- Post analytics are paged, so a long range with many posts is several calls.
- Requests share Sprout’s per-token API quota with anything else using the same token.
