Limits

  • Publicly available data only — private accounts and anything behind a login are out of reach.
  • Posts and reels are looked up by numeric user id, not username; a profile lookup is the usual first step.
  • Lists come back a page at a time (five items by default); pass the returned cursor to fetch more.
  • Pay as you go from your toolfare balance, in US dollars; there is no subscription. A call runs when your balance covers its quote.
