Ask your AI where last week’s conversions came from.
Users, sessions, key events and revenue for any period, traffic sources down to the campaign, the pages people actually view, event funnels, and any custom GA4 report — answered inside ChatGPT, Claude, Codex or Cursor. Connect your GA4 property to toolfare once; your AI reads it with your own login, and every read is free.
1Connect your AI app
Pick the app you use. You do this once, and every API on toolfare is then available in it.
Add toolfare as a connector in Claude
Add to Claudehttps://api.toolfare.ai/mcp
- 1Open Customize → Connectors and choose "Add custom connector".
- 2Paste this URL as the remote MCP server URL.
- 3Leave the OAuth client id and secret under Advanced settings empty.
- 4Complete the browser authorization, then return to your conversation.
Custom connectors are available on Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. A Free account may hold one custom connector in total.
Claude’s own instructions2What to ask
Copy a prompt into your AI app once you’re connected. It picks the right one of the 11 tools and tells you the price first.
The headline numbers for any period
Total, new and active users, sessions, page views, key events and revenue for a property over a date range — the snapshot answer, in one call.
- “How many users and conversions did we get last month?”
- “Compare this week’s sessions and revenue with last week’s.”
Where the traffic came from, down to the campaign
Users, sessions, page views and revenue by source, medium and campaign name — organic against paid, channel against channel.
- “Which campaigns drove the most sessions last week?”
- “How much of our revenue came from organic search this month?”
Key events, and the sources that drove them
Total key events and revenue for a period, together with the traffic sources that converted best.
- “How many conversions did we get last month, and from where?”
- “Which source drives the most key events?”
The pages people actually view
Pages ranked by views over a date range, by page path — what gets read, as opposed to where sessions start.
- “What were our most-viewed pages last week?”
- “Which blog posts got the most views this month?”
Event counts for a funnel, with unique users
Any GA4 event — not only conversions — with its count, value and deduplicated users, which is what a step-by-step funnel is built from.
- “How many people added to cart versus purchased last week?”
- “Show me the funnel from session start to sign-up.”
Any report GA4 can run, live
A live Data API report with the dimensions, metrics, filters and date ranges you name, including your property’s custom definitions.
- “Break down conversions by device and country for last month.”
- “Show revenue by landing page and session source for the last 30 days.”
Also available (5): Traffic day by day for a date range · Streams, key events and Google Ads links · Every dimension and metric a property can report on · The GA4 properties your toolfare account can read · Whether an event fired in the last 30 minutes

Use it when
- You want your own traffic, conversions or revenue for a period, without opening GA4.
- You want to know which source, medium or campaign drove the result.
- You are building a funnel from events and need unique users per step.
- The standard reports do not cover the breakdown you need.
Look elsewhere when
- You want ad spend, CPA or ROAS. GA4 does not know what you paid — that is your ad account. Use this instead
- You want the search queries that brought people in. That is Search Console, not GA4. Use this instead
- You want a competitor’s traffic. GA4 only measures sites you own. Use this instead
- You want to change a key event or a link. The MCP connection publishes no write to your property.
Google Analytics 4 directly, or through toolfare
Directly
- The GA4 interface, or Looker Studio built on it
- A Google Cloud project and credentials for the Data API
- Your own code to put sessions next to spend
Through toolfare
- Ask in the chat you already use, in plain English
- One toolfare login; no service account handed to an agent
- GA4 beside your ad accounts in the same question
You get reads, not the GA4 interface. There are no explorations to save, no audiences to build and no configuration changes through the MCP connection, and nothing is monitored for you between questions.
Limits
- The ready-made summaries read toolfare’s synced copy of the property; the custom report reads GA4 live instead, and is subject to its quotas.
- Top pages are ranked by page path views, not by the page a session started on.
- The realtime event check reads the last 30 minutes only, and seeing an event there does not prove a specific test submission or ad attribution.
- Only properties you connected are readable.
