Ask your AI who works at an account, and what they post on LinkedIn.
Public LinkedIn profiles of people and companies, a company’s employees, the posts a person or company has published, and the comments on a post — asked from Claude, ChatGPT, Codex or Cursor. No LinkedIn partner approval, Sales Navigator seat or API key of your own: each call is quoted before it runs and paid from your toolfare balance.
1Connect your AI app
Pick the app you use. You do this once, and every API on toolfare is then available in it.
Add toolfare as a connector in Claude
Add to Claudehttps://api.toolfare.ai/mcp
- 1Open Customize → Connectors and choose "Add custom connector".
- 2Paste this URL as the remote MCP server URL.
- 3Leave the OAuth client id and secret under Advanced settings empty.
- 4Complete the browser authorization, then return to your conversation.
Custom connectors are available on Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. A Free account may hold one custom connector in total.
Claude’s own instructions2What to ask
Copy a prompt into your AI app once you’re connected. It picks the right one of the 6 tools and tells you the price first.

Use it when
- You are researching an account or prospect before outreach or a call.
- You want to map who works at a company, by role.
- You want to see what a competitor or a person publishes on LinkedIn, and who engages with it.
- You are enriching a CRM list that already holds LinkedIn URLs.
Look elsewhere when
- You only have a work email or a visitor’s IP address, not a LinkedIn URL. Use this instead
- You want the ads a company runs on LinkedIn rather than its organic posts. Use this instead
- You want to send messages or connection requests, or read anything behind a login. These tools only read public data.
LinkedIn Data directly, or through toolfare
Directly
- LinkedIn’s own APIs need partner approval, and member data access is narrow
- Sales Navigator seats are per person and do not hand data to an agent
- Or your own scraping setup, with accounts, proxies and parsers to maintain
Through toolfare
- Pay per call, quoted before it runs, on the same balance as everything else
- No partner programme, seat or key to manage
- LinkedIn next to company enrichment and ad library data in the same conversation
You get public profile, company, post and comment data — no search across LinkedIn by name or title, no contact details beyond what the public page shows, and no actions on LinkedIn.
Limits
- Publicly available data only; nothing that needs a LinkedIn login.
- Most tools take a LinkedIn URL, not a name — find the profile or company page first.
- Post comments take the post’s numeric activity id.
- Employee lists come back up to the requested limit (ten by default), as basic or full records.
- Pay as you go from your toolfare balance, in US dollars; there is no subscription. A call runs when your balance covers its quote.
Questions
LinkedIn’s official APIs are limited to approved partners and specific use cases. The data here is LinkedIn’s public data, collected through a third-party provider; toolfare is not affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn.
No. Connect toolfare once and your agent can call these tools; nothing logs in to LinkedIn as you.
Each tool’s current price is shown on this page and quoted before the call runs. Prices differ by tool, so check the one you need.
Yes. Besides the MCP server for AI apps, the same tools work through the toolfare CLI or over HTTP with an API key, for CRM enrichment scripts or scheduled jobs.
Not directly. These tools start from a profile or company page URL; to find people at a company, use the employee list for that company’s page.
