Sign in once per machine; the CLI renews the sign-in itself. On a CI runner or another server,
create an API key in the toolfare console and set it as `TOOLFARE_API_KEY` instead of signing in.
Paid calls on one sign-in or key run one at a time. `--max-cost` refuses a call quoted above
that many credits (1,000 credits = $3).

Balances and top-ups are in US dollars. Quotes and `--max-cost` count credits: 1,000 credits = $3 ($0.003 each).

## Use it when

- You need captions on a video, in Latin, Chinese, Japanese or Korean script.
- One edit has to go out in several aspect ratios — 9:16, 1:1, 4:5, 5:4 or 16:9.
- You have a new voice track and want the speaker’s lips to match it.
- A clip needs a cutout, an object removed, a few more seconds or a higher resolution.

## Look elsewhere when

- You need a clip made from nothing but a prompt.
- You want a stock presenter to say your script, rather than editing your own footage.
- You need the voice track itself translated into another language.

## Limits

- Asynchronous: each job returns a task, and the edited video is collected with get_result once it has finished.
- Source length caps: up to 300 seconds for captions, 10 seconds for reframe and restyle, and 15 seconds for the other operations.
- The source video, and the voice track for lip-sync, are passed as URLs.
- Pay as you go from your toolfare balance, in US dollars; there is no subscription. A call runs when your balance covers its quote.
