Ask your AI for an ad image, and pick the model that draws it.
Images from a text prompt, optionally guided by reference images, or edits to images you already have — from gpt-image-2, gpt-image-2.5, ideogram-v4 or nano-banana-2, asked from Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor or your own script. No model account or key of your own: toolfare quotes each call before it runs and charges one balance, and the image comes back in the same call.
1Connect your AI app
Pick the app you use. You do this once, and every API on toolfare is then available in it.
Add toolfare as a connector in Claude
Add to Claudehttps://api.toolfare.ai/mcp
- 1Open Customize → Connectors and choose "Add custom connector".
- 2Paste this URL as the remote MCP server URL.
- 3Leave the OAuth client id and secret under Advanced settings empty.
- 4Complete the browser authorization, then return to your conversation.
Custom connectors are available on Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. A Free account may hold one custom connector in total.
Claude’s own instructions2What to ask
Copy a prompt into your AI app once you’re connected. It picks the right one of the 2 tools and tells you the price first.
An image from a prompt, with optional references
From $0.09Text-to-image generation, optionally from input images
- “Make a square hero image of a ceramic coffee cup on a linen tablecloth.”
- “Generate a 9:16 story background for our summer sale, with space for text at the top.”
- “Draw a poster with the words “Open late on Fridays” using ideogram-v4.”
Change an image you already have
From $0.24Image editing from input images
- “Put this product photo on a marble countertop instead of the white background.”
- “Change the jacket in this image from red to navy.”
- “Combine these three product shots into one flat-lay image.”
1Create an API key
One key and one endpoint for every API on toolfare.
export TOOLFARE_API_KEY='tf_live_…'
2Every tool and its input
Send the tool name and its arguments as JSON; the reply is JSON too.

Use it when
- You need a still image for an ad, a post, a landing page or a mock-up.
- You want to compare how different models handle the same prompt before choosing one.
- You have a product photo and want it in a new scene or colourway.
- Your agent should produce images inside a script or pipeline, not a design tool.
Look elsewhere when
- You specifically want ByteDance’s Seedream models, or output sizes up to 4K set by width and height. Use this instead
- You only need a mechanical fix — remove a background, upscale, outpaint or erase an object. Use this instead
- You want moving pictures rather than a still. Use this instead
Image Generation directly, or through toolfare
Directly
- A separate account, billing setup and API key for each model provider
- Different request formats and parameters to learn per model
- Your own code to store or host the returned images
Through toolfare
- Four models behind one tool, quoted before each call
- One balance for images, video and data — no key per provider
- Brief, generation and review in the same conversation, or in your own script
You get the models’ own output, not a design tool: there is no asset library, no brand kit and no retouching beyond what a prompt can ask for, and an image you do not like is still charged.
Limits
- One image per call; ask again for variations.
- Options depend on the model: aspect ratios apply to ideogram-v4 and nano-banana-2, resolution up to 4K to nano-banana-2, and quality and size to the gpt-image models.
- Reference and edit inputs are image URLs or data URLs — up to 4 for the gpt-image models and up to 14 for nano-banana-2. ideogram-v4 takes no input images.
- Pay as you go from your toolfare balance, in US dollars; there is no subscription. A call runs when your balance covers its quote.
Questions
gpt-image-2, gpt-image-2.5, ideogram-v4 and nano-banana-2 for generation; the same minus ideogram-v4 for edits. You or your agent pick the model on each call.
No. The models are reached through a third-party provider and toolfare holds that account. You connect toolfare once and pay per call from your balance.
Each tool’s current price is shown on this page and quoted before the call runs. The price differs by model.
Yes. Generation and edits return the image in the same call, as a URL or as base64, in PNG, JPEG or WebP.
Check the chosen model’s terms for your use. toolfare does not grant any rights beyond them.
