Ask your AI how your ChatGPT Ads are really doing.
Spend and results by campaign, ad group, landing page or UTM, live campaigns and drafts, billing and pixel readiness, and an advisory policy check on your copy — answered inside ChatGPT, Claude, Codex or Cursor. There is no ChatGPT Ads login to connect: toolfare sets the account up for you, and every read is free.
1Connect your AI app
Pick the app you use. You do this once, and every API on toolfare is then available in it.
Add toolfare as a connector in Claude
Add to Claudehttps://api.toolfare.ai/mcp
- 1Open Customize → Connectors and choose "Add custom connector".
- 2Paste this URL as the remote MCP server URL.
- 3Leave the OAuth client id and secret under Advanced settings empty.
- 4Complete the browser authorization, then return to your conversation.
Custom connectors are available on Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. A Free account may hold one custom connector in total.
Claude’s own instructions2What to ask
Copy a prompt into your AI app once you’re connected. It picks the right one of the 16 tools and tells you the price first.
Results by campaign, landing page or UTM
Spend, impressions, clicks, conversions and the derived costs, grouped by account, date, campaign, landing page or a UTM key — read from toolfare’s synced copy of the account.
- “Which landing pages convert best on ChatGPT Ads this month?”
- “Break down our ChatGPT Ads spend by utm_campaign.”
Live campaigns, and the drafts beside them
The account’s campaigns as the platform reports them, together with any campaign drafts saved in your toolfare account.
- “Which ChatGPT Ads campaigns are live right now?”
- “Do we have any campaign drafts that were never launched?”
Whether billing and the pixel are ready
Account, billing and pixel facts combined into conservative readiness checks — what would stop a campaign from activating or from tracking.
- “Is our ChatGPT Ads account ready to launch a campaign?”
- “Is the pixel set up on our ChatGPT Ads account?”
An advisory policy check on your ad
Reads copy, media and destination against ChatGPT Ads content policy and reports what it found and what it could not check. Advice, not approval — a clean result does not mean the ad will run.
- “Check this ad copy and landing page against ChatGPT Ads policy.”
- “What in this draft might get flagged?”
Whether conversion tracking can support a launch
Whether the account’s synced conversion setup is ready for a conversion-optimised campaign, and the single thing blocking it if not.
- “Can we run a conversion campaign on ChatGPT Ads yet?”
- “What is missing before we can optimise for conversions?”
The ad groups inside a campaign
Ad groups and their current lifecycle state, for the whole account or one campaign.
- “List the ad groups in this ChatGPT Ads campaign.”
- “Which ad groups are active?”

Use it when
- You are running ChatGPT Ads and want results by landing page or UTM without building a report.
- You want to know whether billing, the pixel and conversion tracking are ready before a launch.
- You want a policy read on copy and destination before you submit.
Look elsewhere when
- You want a breakdown by two dimensions at once. ChatGPT Ads reporting here is one dimension at a time.
- You want certainty an ad will be approved. The compliance check is advisory and never a publishing gate.
- You want to activate or edit a campaign. Over MCP your AI can only propose new ads, and each one waits for your approval in toolfare.
ChatGPT Ads directly, or through toolfare
Directly
- The ChatGPT Ads dashboard, one report at a time
- Your own spreadsheet to join landing pages to UTMs
- Policy guidelines read by hand before each submission
Through toolfare
- Ask in the chat you already use, in plain English
- Set up for you by toolfare; nothing to hand to an agent
- ChatGPT Ads beside Google, Meta and TikTok in the same question
You get reporting, readiness and an advisory check, not the ChatGPT Ads dashboard. Nothing can be activated or edited through the MCP connection, and the compliance check cannot tell you an ad will be approved — only what it noticed.
Limits
- Synced reporting supports one dimension at a time — account, date, campaign, landing page or a UTM key among them — with no multi-dimension breakdown.
- Live campaign/day reports cover up to 31 days per request and use the platform’s own conversion definitions, without applying any custom business conversion groups.
- UTM breakdowns reflect current campaign metadata; campaigns with no value for a key report under “(not set)”.
- A freshly connected account backfills in stages; an unsynced range is not zero spend.
- The compliance check is advisory. It reports gaps in what it could check and is never approval.
