# Adjust through toolfare

Then connect your Adjust account in the toolfare console (https://toolfare.ai/adjust#setup); calls fail until it is connected.

Sign in once per machine; the CLI renews the sign-in itself. On a CI runner or another server, create an API key in the toolfare console and set it as `TOOLFARE_API_KEY` instead of signing in. Paid calls on one sign-in or key run one at a time. `--max-cost` refuses a call quoted above that many credits (1,000 credits = $3).

Tool: `adjust_get_report`

Read installs, cost, revenue, ROAS and retention by date, network and campaign with your API Token. Choose currency, timezone and cohort maturity for each report.

- Show D7 ROAS and retention by campaign.

Tool: `adjust_query`

Runs a read tool from Adjust’s MCP — aggregated performance by network, campaign and date, cohort and event aggregates, SKAN data and app metadata. Only allowlisted reads run.

Ask:
- Which network had the best ROAS for our Android app last month?
- Show day-30 retention by campaign for users acquired in August.
- What do our SKAN conversion values look like this week?

## Price

Free to read: it is your own account, so toolfare pays nobody for the data and charges nothing per read. No per-read charge to observe. Reads need no purchase. Like every toolfare call, they run only while your balance holds at least $0.003, and that is not spent.

Balances and top-ups are in US dollars. Quotes and `--max-cost` count credits: 1,000 credits = $3 ($0.003 each).

## Use it when

- You want to compare ad networks on revenue and retention, not on installs alone.
- You want cohort curves without building the report in the Adjust dashboard.
- You want SKAN data beside the rest of your reporting.

## Look elsewhere when

- You want spend and delivery from the ad platform itself. Adjust attributes; the ad account is where the campaign lives.
- You want to change a tracker or a setting. Anything outside the read allowlist needs review and is not available through the MCP connection.

## Limits

- The optional MCP connection requires Adjust MCP access to be enabled. API Token reports do not require MCP.
- Reads are live from Adjust — there is no synced copy — and subject to its rate limits.
- API Token reports are scoped to the apps you selected. MCP reads the account selected during authorization.
