Use it when

  • You want to compare ad networks on revenue and retention, not on installs alone.
  • You want cohort curves without building the report in the Adjust dashboard.
  • You want SKAN data beside the rest of your reporting.

Look elsewhere when

  • You want spend and delivery from the ad platform itself. Adjust attributes; the ad account is where the campaign lives. Use this instead
  • You want to change a tracker or a setting. Anything outside the read allowlist needs review and is not available through the MCP connection.

API Token access returns aggregate Report Service data, with supported metrics and dimensions. It does not modify Adjust data. Existing MCP customers can keep using their enabled MCP connection.

Limits

  • The optional MCP connection requires Adjust MCP access to be enabled. API Token reports do not require MCP.
  • Reads are live from Adjust — there is no synced copy — and subject to its rate limits.
  • API Token reports are scoped to the apps you selected. MCP reads the account selected during authorization.
